A Baby Is On The Way

Having a baby is a great time in ones life and family and friends like to share in this excitement. Most families have a tradition of having a baby shower to prepare the new parents with new clothes and items for the new addition. There are many different items a baby will require and a detailed and varied baby shower registry is key to getting exactly what is needed and wanted.

As everyone takes a bath, a new baby will also need a new bath. A baby bath is a great addition to any registry. When first born, a baby can not hold up its. This will go on for the first few months of life. Because of this, it is unsafe to place a baby directly into a traditional bathtub. A bath is sloped to keep baby’s head up and the water near the bottom and is safe for the baby to use.

A car seat is going to be one of the items a baby uses just about everyday. One is required to leave the hospital after birth. A good name in car seats is the Britax car seat. These seats are top of the line and have a high weight limit and height limit which is uncommon in the world of car seats. These car seats also have a 5-point harness even on their seats for older children for additional safety.

Another necessary item needed for a baby is a stroller. This is a convenient way to get a baby around and able to hold any items that are carried with when out doing errands. There are many different versions of strollers. Some are basic models; some are for joggers and runners. There is even a double stroller and triple stroller model available to parents with multiple children.

Bottles, for the bottle feeding mom, are going to be necessary. Countless bottles are out there. Glass bottles are less common. Plastic bottles come in many shapes and sizes. There are 2-oz. Bottles, 4-oz. Bottles and 8-oz. Bottles. There are bottles with a bend in the neck that are supposed to help with air bubbles. There are bottles with a drop in liner to cut down on the mess.

Bottles and feeding items are also a needed item for a new baby. A large portion of babies will use a bottle at some point in their life. There are numerous different types of bottles to choose from. There are basic models, there are ones with a bent head and there are even glass bottles. These are all based on preference of the mother and of the baby.

With the addition of a new baby, many items will need to be purchased. A baby shower and a baby shower registry is a great way to get many different items for the new addition.
